The SAP Ariba Cloud Operations team manages the technology platforms for all SAP Ariba solutions worldwide. We are expanding our global team of DevOps engineers and cloud experts to better serve our rapidly growing customer base.

 

Responsibilities

· Install and maintain critical systems running Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Suse Linux employing enterprise applications

· Provision and manage compute instances in GCP and AWS

· Install, configure, and maintain supporting systems including DNS, Sendmail, Bind, NFS, LDAP, HSM, VMware, RSA, etc.

· Maintain enterprise-grade storage systems, network filers and public cloud storage offerings

· Follow and employ industry-standard change control procedures

· Write scripts and operate configuration management tools (Ansible)

· Patch Linux operating systems using industry-standard tools (Satellite, Tanium)

· Develop and maintain Perl and Shell scripts to enhance deployment and monitoring framework

· Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for private and public cloud environments

· Provide recommendations on system and process changes as needed

· Adhere to ISO-27001, PCI-DSS, and SOC compliance controls

 

Minimum Qualifications

· 3-5 years professional experience administering a large-scale Linux-based Software as a Service offering

· 3-5 years professional experience administering network utilities such as Sendmail, Bind, SSH

· Good working knowledge of industry-standard storage systems

· Exemplary scripting abilities (Perl, bash, or other)

· Experience with system administration automation and scripting

· 3 years of experience in an environment that meets a cybersecurity standard such as PCI-DSS, ISO-27001, SOC1, SOC2 or HIPPA

· 2 years of experience with AWS or GCP compute, network and storage

· Bachelor’s degree

 

Good to have

· Understanding of Actifio and PaceMaker Cluster

· Understanding of NetApp, NFS and CVO

· Experience with Ansible Tower

· Experience migrating large workloads to AWS, Azure or GCP

· Experience with KMS/HSM solutions in private and public cloud

· Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform for deploying cloud applications and infrastructure

· Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISM
