We at OctoBus are providing an extended data lake for alerts, logs and metrics, which is built on Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana and Grafana.

Our internal customers across SAP are building and running their observability, data analytics and security incident event management processes on top of our platform.

What you´ll do

You will be the key engineer to make these mission-critical use cases a success!

In your role as Customer Service Engineer, you will:

• consult our customers on using our platform to solve their use cases
• develop and configure our platform to be able to run the customer’s use cases
• develop data ingestion paradigms for most effective and efficient usage of the data
• troubleshoot problems of our customers
• engage with all OctoBus teams to ensure the best technical solution

What you bring:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with:

• knowledge in Ruby Syntax
• expertise within the ELK stack
• affinity to analyzing and solving customer use cases and problems
• ability to work independently within a customer-facing role (Ticket Queue)

Your profile

• Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent education in Informatics / Computer Science
• A real team player, self-motivated, and continuous learner
• Experience with observability and SIEM tools and processes preferred
• Fluent in English for presentation and communication
