What You'll Do

Cooperate with developers and infrastructure teams to ensure highly available and scalable production systems.

Build and maintain highly available and scalable production systems.
-
Manage core production systems, including frequent changes and updates.
-
Rapidly identify and resolve problems in production systems.
-
Optimize Kubernetes clusters for resource utilization and cost-efficiency.
-
Provide support during off hours (nights and weekends) when necessary.

Hands-on work building CI/CD pipelines

Fully committed to a continuous improvement process to reduce cycle time from commit to production.
What You Bring
-
At least 1-2 years’ experience managing and maintaining Linux and Windows servers in a global, multi-server environment.

Strong familiarity with opensource tools such as Mysql, Zabbix, Nomad, Consul, Kubernetes, Vault, Kafka, CouchDB, haproxy, squid, varnish.

Experience configuring Amazon Web Services and Azure and/or similar cloud-based platforms.

Experience in Python/Bash scripts, Terraform, Puppet.

Working knowledge of monitoring logging, and metrics collection tools in high scale Kubernetes environments (e.g. one of Prometheus, Thanos, OpenTelemetry)
