IT Data & Analytics Senior Specialist - SAP Process Intelligence

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES 

Our unit Business Process and Solution Management is driving the Golden Process Standard for Customer Support, Cloud Operations and some further functions. This harmonization activity is based on data and facts (value management) and includes the actual onboarding of different SAP Lines of Business and organizational units towards the standard processes and tools. We are a unit of about 50 colleagues, within Product, Data & Technology (PDT) under Service Management Processes and Solutions in the OCEO board area. We are looking for the main driver to identify and replicate business data from SAP systems into accessible databases for Process Mining tools to identify improvement opportunities. 

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS 

  • Being able to identify and retrieve business data from SAP systems and replicate this data into databases (e.g. Datasphere, Support Data Lake …) that can be accessed from Process Mining tools like Signavio / Service Now. 

  • Building Business Process Models in Signavio (and optionally Service Now).  

  • Being able to identify Business Process shortcomings and derive potential room for process improvement from the models and the data. 

  • Collaborating effectively across various stakeholders in business and other technical units. 

 

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES 

Required skills:

  • Data Engineering - SQL statements, Python coding 

  • Build API Services in Kubernetes, Process Data in ObjectStore (a plus if knowing one of the skills: Kafka, Kubeflow pipeline) 

  • Experience in Process Mining data analysis (what kind of data structure is valid for process analysis) in Signavio and / or Service Now. 

  • Experience in Business Data/BI Analysis (BI reporting, statistic reporting, etc.) 

  • Being able to guide and facilitate technical and process related discussions within the IT organization and with the business colleagues. 

  • Ability to collaborate across geographical, organizational, and cultural boundaries. 

  • Fluent in written and verbal English.  

 

Preferred skills: 

  • Familiar with Customer Support and/or Cloud Operations processes (ITSM / ITOM) or neighbouring areas. 

  • Dashboard design for KPIs/metrics to show the value/bottleneck of a business process. 

  • Agile development methodology 

  • German language skills
