About the team
The Service Continuity Team is part of the Security Compliance Office (SCO). The SCO is part of the SAP Global Security organization within the Finance & Administration board area.
The SAP Service Continuity framework enables us to respond and adapt rapidly to threats posed against our company. Within this framework, disaster recovery, IT Service Continuity and process continuity
activities are triggered by the loss or absence of normal business process structures and are supported by situation intelligence and security activities. This allows us to prepare and protect our workforce and
enable continuity in critical decision making.
In our Service Continuity team, we are looking for an Early Talent supporting activities connected to Service Continuity in assigned region. These activities will be done in close alignment with SAP’s Cloud
Operating units, and Cloud Compliance Office to continuously improve the security and compliance level for SAP and SAP’s customers globally.
This individual is expected to have a high level of attention to detail, plus an interest in compliance & security management as well as auditing.
What you´ll do
- Support creation of Disaster Recovery Content on Wiki, Jam Page and Cloud Trust Center
- Conduct training / knowledge-sharing for Internal Auditors
- Support Common Standard and Related Policy Statements for Service Continuity
- Handle Audit and Customer Requests (local, regional, SOC, ISO)
- In preparation for audit cycle, contact Process Continuity Plan (PCP) owners and initiate annual updates
- Review plans for completeness and accuracy
- Consolidate open findings from the SAP internal reviews before the external audit cycle begins
- Track and collect outstanding PCP plans and test evidences
- Follow-up on mitigations on audit findings
- Onboard PC Facilitators and support document owners with plan updates
- Conduct Continuity Governance Tasks
- Be local Service Continuity Management team interface for all regional stakeholders (e.g., SAP business units & Cloud LoBs)
- Participate in regional crisis simulations / exercises to understand resilience capabilities
- Support PCP Template Improvement and Evolution to Business Continuity Management Tool
- Support in maintaining Corporate Continuity Strategy and Client Disclosure Document
- Support in managing process continuity activities for global business units
What you bring
- Bachelors degree must, Master a plus, international degrees preferred
- Skills and Competencies
- 1-2 years working experience via internships or in similar role in a multinational company preferred
- Multiple international assignments in previous jobs or as student required
- Ability and willingness to gain quickly good understanding for Business Continuity as well as Disaster Recovery
- Very good communication skills
- Ability to withstand hectic and stress during critical situations
- English language must, further languages preferred
- Solution-oriented working mentality
- Established SAP network as well as established contacts to relevant stakeholder providers/networks is a plus
