YOUR FUTURE ROLE:

You will contribute to the development and operations of an ABAP based application that is part of the S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition in the functional area of sales and solution billing and convergent invoicing.

You will work closely together within the team and across teams to improve and enhance the features and SaaS capabilities of our solution. A specific focus will be on including GenAI and machine learning capabilities into our business process development.

In your role your will track and solve issues that come up in customer cloud systems and actively engage in the continuous improvement of cloud qualities in the development projects.

ABOUT THE TEAM :

Being part of the S/4 Hana Cloud Public Edition - Sales Billing and Convergent Invoicing teams positions you in the core of the S/4HANA cloud development.

Our team owns the S/4HANA customer invoice, a central object combining the requirements and processes of sales, services and financials and reflecting legal requirements. For us developing software is an end-to-end responsibility from design to support. We are working in close cooperation with our customers. Our daily challenge is to ensure high volume invoicing runs smoothly, in time and highly automated. We are on our journey to modernize our solution by enabling and enhancing SaaS capabilities and including AI capabilities into our offerings.

To accelerate the improvement and modernization of our solution, we are expanding the development team in Budapest.

The Role:

As a developer, you will participate in all phases of application development.

• Contribute to the design, development, test automation and maintenance in SAP S/4HANA
• Collaborate with architects, product managers and team members to translate business and technology requirements into solutions.
• Work in an ABAP based environment. The frontend is typically developed using FIORI elements and based on JavaScript. 
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance through best practices and code reviews.
• Leverage agile software engineering and cloud mindset to ensure we can deliver high-quality software continuously

YOUR PROFILE :

Required skills

• University degree in Computer Sciences, Business Informatics or a related field
• Ideally first programming skills in ABAP, SAP Fiori, CDS views, SQL, HTML5 or Java Script
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and test automation
• Analytical thinking to understand complex coding dependencies
• Interest in technology
• Growth mindset: can-do attitude, eagerness to learn and apply new skills, proactive and accountable
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent in English

Preferred skills

• Hands-on expertise: ABAP, RAP, CDS, OData, Fiori/UI5
• Business Knowledge in Sales and Solution Billing  
• Experience with development principles for cloud products
• Experience with AI Tools

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Initial professional experience in development
• Participation in development projects
• Supporting scrum teams with testing
