Center of Expertise EMEA support our Premium Engagement customers in their digital transformation. We sustain the adoption of SAP software and ensure that our customers can successfully plan, implement, integrate and operate their software, including continuous improvement, quality management, problem solving and knowledge transfer. 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Your role involves delivery of technical and application services within customer engagements. You need very good SAP Integration skills and capabilities, and you are a decent problem solver with the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment. According to your experience, strengths and customer needs, you will conduct some of the following tasks:

• Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization, and Go Live of customer implementation projects 
• Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage blueprint workshops/meetings with internal and external clients 
• Assisting in defining the scope of a project/opportunities, estimating efforts and project timelines 
• Analyze integration processes on prem and cloud including root cause analysis and technical performance optimization 
• Analyze interfaces between SAP and non SAP systems based on SAP Integration Technology incl. Cloud Solutions 
• Design and Implement Integration Solutions based on SAP PI/PO and BTP CPI, API Mgmt and Event Mesh 
• Moderation of Planning and Integration Strategy Workshops for Integration based on state of the art Software and Technology 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

• Multiyear experience with SAP PI/PO , ALE/IDOC, RFC, WebServices, AIF  and SAP BTP CPI, API Mgmt, Event Mesh
• Strong knowledge with Integration into at least one SAP Cloud Solution like ARIBA, SuccessFactors/HCM 
• Programming skills in at least one language e.g. (ABAP, JAVA, C, C++, SQL or similar) 
• Ability to design and implement integration scenarios involving OnPremise and Cloud components 
• Expert in Java troubleshooting like thread and heap dump analysis. Preferably experience in the usage of Solution Manager Diagnostic and Wily Introscope. 
• Knowledge in SAP Performance/Workload analysis, memory configuration, operations system and DB/SQL performance 
• Profound knowledge and multiple years of delivery experience in PE service portfolio in the integration area
• Able to work under pressure, in critical situations and under tight deadlines 
• Ability to drill down into technical issues and solve complex and detailed problems 
• Ability to deliver clear, concise presentations and present complex information in a clear and precise manner 
• Willingness and ability to travel to customers 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. German considered a plus.

• Experience in working with cross-cultural teams or individuals 
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams 

WORK EXPERIENCE

• University degree in computer science, business information technology, mathematics, physics, engineering or equivalent 
• At least 10+ years of SAP Integration Technology design and implementation experience or support experience
