What you`ll do:
Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who combines strong analytical and modeling expertise with a deep understanding of business impact. In this role, you will design and deliver advanced data-driven solutions, translating complex data into actionable insights and scalable models that drive decision-making and innovation.
The Role:
In this role, you will work across the full data science lifecycle, from problem framing and data exploration to model development, deployment, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to identify high-value use cases and deliver measurable outcomes. You will also play a key role in shaping best practices and mentoring other data professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and frame business problems into data science solutions with clear impact and success criteria
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and statistical models for real-world applications
- Explore and analyze large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns
- Collaborate with data engineers and software engineers to build scalable data pipelines and production-ready solutions
- Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Monitor model performance, ensure reliability, and drive continuous improvement
- Apply best practices in experimentation, validation, and reproducibility
- Contribute to the definition of data science standards, tools, and methodologies
- Mentor junior data scientists and foster a culture of learning and innovation
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and AI
What you bring:
- Degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
- Several years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related role
- Strong expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and model evaluation techniques
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R and common data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Experience with data manipulation, feature engineering, and working with large datasets
- Hands-on experience deploying models into production environments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data ecosystems (e.g. Databricks)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Fluent English and a proactive, results-driven approach
Nice to have but not a must
- Experience with MLOps practices and tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow)
- Knowledge of deep learning, NLP, or generative AI techniques
- Domain experience in customer support or service industry
