We are seeking a Senior Data Management Consultant (f/m/d) with robust customer orientation, a focus on quality, and substantial experience in SAP Master Data Governance. This may include consulting, development, product support, or product management.

What you’ll do

As a part of the CSS Premium Hub (CoE) for Data Warehousing & Data Management, your work will encompass:

• Comprehensive support for SAP implementation, digital transformation, and cloud transition projects focusing on Data Management.
• Developing business process design, architecture, scalability, security, and operations concepts for SAP solutions in Data Management.
• Facilitating knowledge transfer through training and project support for customers and partners.
• Analyzing critical customer situations, including performance, scalability, custom-code, and implementation design within service delivery or Mission Critical Support Tasks in the Mission Control Center or BackOffice.
• On-call duties and weekend support for upgrade and GoLive support activities on occasions.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Providing technical and functional guidance to customers.
• Assisting in defining master data strategies, solution architecture, and roadmap.
• Supporting and safeguarding the implementation of SAP software in the Data Management field.
• Ensuring projects are launched and operate based on SAP best practices, whether on-premise, public-cloud, or hybrid.

What you bring:

• Extensive experience in process and implementation consulting in Master Data Governance.
• Profound knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA, as well as proficiency in SAP MDG-specific technologies.
• Programming skills and experience in ABAP.
• Theoretical and practical experience with other SAP applications in Data Management or Data Warehousing is a plus.
• University degree in computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering, mathematics, or physics
• Analytical and logical skills for solving complex problems; structured, reliable, and independent working style in fast-changing IT landscapes and innovative technologies
• Enjoyment in team collaboration and client interaction.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills. Additional European languages are welcome.
• Openness for travel and customer-facing work, onsite with customers across Europe and worldwide.

A track record in classroom trainings/certifications (e.g. Open SAP Classes, SAP University Classroom Trainings), and proven work experience in one or more business units of consulting, development, product support, product management is desirable.
