The CoE Project Controlling (PCO) is part of the Global Controlling Team. The team provides end to end support of key Consulting Projects in the Customer Success Board Area. They act as trusted advisors to management and provide the required financial to help steer the Business. Project Controlling acts as an internal consultant for successful project execution from the Bid phase to Project Delivery and supports the use of best practices, global tools and processes to optimize business outcomes


Key Skill Set required

  • Commercial and deal execution Support - Support deals at Bid Phase from a financial and accounting perspective.
  •  Act as an adviser to Project managers to set up the right financial steering model in the monitoring phase
  • Evaluation of project forecasts to identify potential financial risks and to secure the correct accounting of these projects
  • Drive transparency of project Financial impacts on the forecast to ensure Forecast reliability.
  • Provide Financial analysis to Top management to aid with customer negotiations and business steering decisions
  •  Provide Financial Transparency at global and regional level for the Top focus projects on a regular basis
  • Identify weak spots and drive improvements in all Project Controlling processes on local, Regional, and global level
  • Assess local maturity in Project Controlling and make recommendations to management on improvements
  •  Perform trainings and enablement on roll out of new processes and tools
  • Drive compliance and correct account postings in liaison with Revenue Recognition, Corporate Audit and CFR teams.
  • Act as role model for using our own SAP products, as catalyst for increased Financial monitoring efficiency



  • University degree and/or MBA in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Good knowledge of the SAP Services business
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to understand complex frameworks
  • Excellent financial and analytical skills
  • Strong conceptual and structured work style, strong sense of prioritization, results and execution focused
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills to successfully interact with colleagues and executive management alike
  • Excellent skills in diagnosing inefficiencies in business processes and driving corrective actions
  • Business level English, additional languages a plus
  • Good knowledge in MS office applications (Excel/PowerPoint), SAP ERP and SAP BO tools.
  • Experience in Revenue Accounting (RAR) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) a plus



  • 3+ years professional work experience with a strong focus on controlling processes
  • Experience in SAP Services Business is an added advantage
