Join our Cloud CoE Team within Global Controlling at SAP, where we provide strategic financial advice to SAP's Finance, Portfolio, and Cloud Business organizations worldwide. Our team plays a crucial role in steering SAP’s pursuit of operational excellence by upholding the highest standards in analysis, reporting, and facilitating data-driven decision-making. Our portfolio includes:

•    Cloud Topline: Cloud Revenue, Current Cloud Backlog, Cloud Bookings, Cloud Renewals
•    Cloud Total Cost of Operations (TCO)
•    Cloud Floor Pricing
•    Cloud Capacity Management

The Cloud Revenue & Current Cloud Backlog Subscription CoE specializes in SAP's subscription business. As a controller, you’ll not only manage budget, forecast, and actuals processes for a specific region but also provide strategic insights to our stakeholders. Your role will be crucial in ensuring compliance of CCB actuals, identifying opportunities for improvement, and mastering the Commit2Consum business model.

 

What you'll do
•    Execute comprehensive Cloud Revenue & CCB Planning (Forecast/Budget) & Actual Processes 
•    Work closely and effectively with Business Units/Regions as a "Trusted Business Advisor" by understanding business needs, behavior, operations, and supporting them in their controlling requirements
•    Drive continuous improvement of topline-related processes, especially in the context of automation and major business process enhancements to ensure compliance and high process efficiency
•    Ensure precise revenue recognition and compliance during the quarterly closing process
•    Serve as the subject matter expert for the growing Commit2Consum business model

 

What you bring
•    Excellent University degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling or Business Administration
•    Minimum 3+ years of experience in a finance function
•    Expertise in MS Excel, including advanced use of formulas, pivot tables, linked worksheets, and charts
•    Experience with SAP products (e.g. SAP CO/FI, Business Warehouse, Revenue Accounting & Reporting)
•    Knowledge of revenue recognition standards (IFRS 15) is preferred
•    Strong communication and social skills and the ability to understand complex frameworks
•    Demonstrated ability to coordinate across various stakeholders (Business / Controlling / Board, etc.) 
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
•    Self-driven, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction 
•    Fluent in English
