In your job as Business Process Consultant in the CoE for ABAP Technology & Performance / Basis team you will have the chance to see the results of your efforts by contributing directly to the stability and reliability of the customer solutions.

Our team primarily focuses on:

• Root Cause Analysis and technical optimization of ABAP based solutions with special focus on performance, stability and scalability
• Assessment and implementation of technical architecture and operational concepts for SAP Business Suite and S/4HANA
• Assessment and optimization of the underlying technical architecture as well as the system administration and operational processes of Business Suite and S/4HANA
• Empowering of customers to plan, implement and operate SAP solutions system landscapes
• ABAP development and technical optimization in S/4HANA solutions

We are looking for a good team player, as we act as a team at customer site. But you also need to have the ability to drill down into technical issues and solve complex and detailed problems.

As you will be working primarily for customers all over Europe and Africa, very good communication skills are mandatory.

We are in customer facing role, travel to our customers is also part of the job (also on short notice).

YOUR PROFILE

• BSc/MSc degree in natural, economic or engineering sciences, e.g. computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering, mathematics, physics
• Strong customer focus
• Strong analytical and logical skills
• 3+ year experience of ABAP Development / development  in another programming language or experience in SAP system administration tasks (SAP Basis)
• Experience in IT topics like software logistics, performance analysis, databases, hardware layouts/components, networks
• Very good English skill (any additional language is a plus, esp. German)
• Willingness to travel within EMEA, possibly also worldwide

ABOUT THE TEAM

Our team's primary focus is to support SAP’s largest customers, all within the premium segment. Our team’s expertise and experience from hundreds and thousands of services delivered helps customers in functional solution- and technical landscape design including integration aspects between SAP and non-SAP solutions [on-premise, cloud or hybrid]. With our Service Portfolio, we support customers in e.g. sizing, performance and scalability of critical processes, as well as safeguarding their partner lead implementations by delivery of assessments for implementations, upgrade & migrations projects. Our Safeguarding and monitoring during planning, through the implementation and testing until go live ensures that customers will achieve their plans and go live in time and budget.

Furthermore, we provide enablement services as well as hands on project support and provide best practices for End to End Hybrid Operations.
