The Partner Management Hub is a global organisation with a focus on nurturing our thriving ecosystem of SAP partners (Sell and Service) with a Digital approach. We are developing a team of hub-based partner managers to help our Partners continually grow and succeed with SAP. This is an exciting time for the Partner Management hub organisation as the scope and responsibilities are evolving. The opportunity of a Partner Manager is a highly responsible Inside Relationship Management role where the candidate develops and maintains a 1:1 professional relationship with a set of designated SAP Partners.

Partner Managers in the Partner Management Hub work closely with all the teams based in the hub, such as sales, demand generation teams, demand managers to ensure SAP and partners joint success. 

The Seller Partner Manager is the first line conductor of a successful Partner Relationship within our Partner Management Hub. His/her role transcends mere coordination; he/she is the main link of partnerships, the pillar of collaboration, and essential of success. Serving as the primary liaison between SAP and our valued partners, he/she embodies SAP´s principle of partnership excellence. With a keen understanding of our solutions portfolio and a deep commitment to partner growth, he/she orchestrates seamless interactions, driving investments and pushing growth initiatives forward. His/ her holistic approach to relationship management ensures that every interaction with our partners is infused with value, innovation, and a shared vision for mutual success.

The Seller Partner Manager is an office-based role and is the orchestrator of the Partner Relationship. They are the main point of contact for building the Partner relationship with SAP and the central advisor to the Partner. They own the Partner relationship end to end and are responsible for coordinating all SAP interactions to drive Partner investments and growth in SAP's solutions portfolio.


  • Responsible for revenue generation through permanently assigned Seller Partners, achieving desired revenue and profitability objectives for both Partner and SAP
  • Act as a strategic thought leader and orchestrator of the Seller Partner relationship end-to end, including key engagement activities with all stakeholders.
  • One face proxy to assigned Partners across the entire Partner lifecycle, to grow the Partner’s SAP’s business and investment into their SAP practice across the SAP solution portfolio.
  • Responsible for ensuring exceptional Partner experience through Partner engagement with SAP.
  • Drive a disciplined joint business planning process to expand the Partner’s business with SAP, including a multi-year development plan, incl market & business development.
  • Assist Partner in building transformational plans to differentiate themselves in the market and maximize the management & cadences around driving joint Customer Value Journey activities with SAP.
  • Evangelize SAP opportunities (i.e. new product, new solutions area) in financial terms and secure buy-in from Partner to adopt and align to SAP's strategic objectives
  • Identify areas of improvement on competency gaps of managed Partner(s) and proactively develop cloud-ready Partner capabilities with the right-fit Partner delivery capacity.

Functional Experience

  • Experience driving Partner value realization based on agreed business outcomes across financial, business development and customer success.
  • Expert governance and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in orchestration of ecosystem practices, leading with influence and managing multiple relationships to achieve a common goal.
  • 3 to 5+ years in a Partner facing role (ex. Customer Service, Sales, Consulting); experience working for an SAP partnership is desired. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required (MBA preferred)
  • Demonstrated partnering and sales leadership skills.
  • Business development planning and execution experience in driving demand gen, sales pipeline, and enablement with Partners
  • Strong analytical competencies to drive action orientation through assigned Partners.
  • High energy - brings innovative ideas to the team and champions best practices.
  • Proven capability to work in a team and collaborate, with independent accountability.
  • Local market knowledge and understanding (software industry, trends, vertical market industries, etc.)
