Oversees the installation and client acceptance of SAP and non-SAP software systems or system integration projects or serves as trusted partner for a dedicated customer managing a sustainable and long-term engagement holistically.
Accountable for customer satisfaction within the managed project, related schedules and deliverables or ensures overall customer success and satisfaction and is to be considered billable and funded via the existing delivery engagements.

 

Accountability

  • responsible for running the bid process  for assigned bids or areas of responsibility
  • Ensure compliance with the delegation of authority
  • collaborates with various internal stakeholder for ensuring high quality proposal or contracts are released to Customer
  • may include team lead or supervisory responsibilities for the bid in hand


Complexity

  • contributes independently, and handle work with cross-functional or cross-country teams like GFA , ASC , Solutioning Centres and existing Project Teams
  • works independently on topics while setting priorities having sole responsibility
  • provides regular project status and updates to management as needed
  • drive the running and coordination of bid councils
  • enhance complex systems & processes for bids based on experience and understanding

Experience

  • PMO experience, worked on projects at SAP,  Bid manager or operational experience of around 4-5 yrs
  • understanding of CSS process
  • individuals with a customer focus and self motivated and ability to collaborate and drive engagement irrespective or levels and hierarchy
  • high level understanding of how a typical project works , Activate methodology.
  • SAP solutions understanding would be great

Communication

  • builds and maintains partnerships with internal and external customers and partners
  • contributes actively to build common ground for cooperation
  • communicates clear and conveying processes & policies in a way that others can understand
  • communicates relevant messages in a timely manner and with constructive feedback to cross functional colleagues & managers

General role tasks and requirements:

  • Coordinate Deal Qualification Board (DQB) sessions prior to working on bids
  • Lead Solutioning and Coordinate all involved parties (opportunity owners, Solutioning Center, ASC and other involved areas) from requirement gathering to producing the service proposal and estimates ensuring deliverables are aligned with MU & customer requirements
  • Work with internal  team as needed to make the bid aligned with SAP and Customer requirements
  • Provide visibility to the management team regarding opportunity solutioning and approval
  • Manage the MU or regional reviews and approval process (Reviews,  bid council moderating & documentation) 
  • Follow up on action items defined during Local and Regional Bid Council sessions.
  • Maintain harmony accordingly with bid process status
  • Ensure that process and document are compliant to DOA and bid management standards
  • Ensure proper use of Bid Management tools, and methodologies / Continuously improve the bid quality by storing & updating documentation for reuse, audit, and historical purposes
  • Build network to be able to leverage it efficiently for solutioning / issues encountered
  • Support with template creation for scope document mainly in French for the French speaking regions.
