What you’ll do:

 

Position title: SAP iXp Intern – Resource Management Business Support

Location: Chicago, Minneapolis, or Newtown Square

Office Expection: Hybrid (Mandatory) 

Expected Start Date:  August 2024

Duration: 6 Months 

Schedule: 40 HR/week 

 

The candidate will be expected to quickly learn and perform a number of staffing support activities that are critical to successfully and quickly placing revenue-generating consultants on sites at our customers. These include, but are not limited to:

  • ensure staffing lists are completed for each consultant so that they can record their time on business support activities in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Ensure purchase requests for Third Party Consultants are submitted accurately to ensure timely generation of services revenue for SAP.

  • Assist with background checks, where needed.

  • Assist in the search for consultants outside North America, where needed.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. The candidate will be interacting with our business users every day, and a clear, objective and professional communication style is critical to success in this role.

  • Competency with quickly learning many, very detailed business processes that must be followed accurately, and quickly is a key skill.

  • Organization and the ability to multitask and handle many open activities throughout the day is another key skill to succeeding in this role.

 

Meet your team:

 

The North American Resource Management Team is a group of 19 resourcing/staffing professionals who handle approximately 15,000 professional services staffing requests each year. This is a virtual organization with team members distributed across North America (Canada and the US).  We have on-site presence at offices in Newtown Square PA,  Chicago IL, and Minneapolis MN (among other office locations).

 

We are a part of the Global Resource Management Organization comprised of approximately 125 resourcing/staffing professionals. Several of our job responsibilities involve coordinating with these colleagues in the other regions.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role.
