About Us:

This is an opportunity for students to join the SAP Ariba Team in Japan to support our customers and colleagues on solution implementation. We are looking for candidates who are interested in learning more about Sourcing and Procurement within the Business-to-Business (B2B) area, while building an understanding of the Ariba software solutions. You do not need to have a technical background, but the aptitude to learn and apply Ariba solution knowledge will be a key point.

Our three teams (Operational Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Catalog Advisory) all support customers in the early phases of the implementation project to showcase system functionality to the customer, and also capture the customer’s business needs. Using the customer’s requirements each team configures and tests the solution while working with the customer, and other internal stakeholders to meet business timelines.

Our teams:

Catalog Advisory – This team focuses on supporting our customers and our Operational Procurement team to help customers implement a successful Catalog solution which users will be able to procure from. This is relevant to the following solutions: SAP Ariba Catalogs, SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing, and the SAP Business Network. The team supports internal teams and customers on getting the most out of the solution by supporting catalog content discussions and training, about loading item content into the solution.

Operational Procurement – This team focuses on supporting customers with the implementation of our procurement solutions, such as: Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Ariba Catalogs, Guided Buying, and Spot Buy. They work during the implementation phase to understand the customers business and solution needs to configure the system to achieve the business outcomes.
