Job Summary:

The Network Deployment Lead (NDL) will manage the opportunity to lead multiple Supplier & Business Network Adoption programs for the customers in APJ. This role acts as an advisory for SAP customers to interact with their suppliers through the SAP Business Network. The role empowers to develop supplier onboarding plan, design the best course of action to realize project success, thereby creating maximum benefit for buyers and suppliers. The role requires to drive periodic cadences with internal teams, chair crucial meeting with customer leadership remotely or in person and dispense timely updates to essential stakeholders. Host onsite/in person summits with suppliers and buyers whenever deemed imperative.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Builds relationships with customers and suppliers at all levels.
  • Align with Account Management on comprehensive enablement onboarding plan.
  • May act as project manager for cross functional teams consisting of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Has ultimate responsibility for a Customers Business Network Adoption Plan including: Enablement Road Map, On-Boarding Plan, Supplier Catalog enablement and data collection
  • Accountable for managing enablement to meet customer goals and objectives.
  • Prepares and delivers analyses and presentations to customers outlining expectations, risks, options, project plans, results, etc.
  • Responsible for understanding key business drivers and managing operational metrics.
  • Work closely with our partner and center of excellence teams to ensure delivery success.
  • Ensures that all reports and systems are current.
  • Understands and complies with work instructions, process documents, technology and tools required within the department.
  • Be responsible for operational results, quality of delivery, and generation of customer references.
  • Demonstrates exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Adept at appropriately escalating issues within and across teams both internally and customer facing.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

Basic Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • 3+ years of Procurement and/or AP experience
  • 5+ years of Project Admin / Management or equivalent experience
  • Cloud delivery and Procurement experience would be a plus.
  • Supply Chain Industry Experience is preferred.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with customer management (internal & external) 
  • Experience preparing and delivering analyses and presentations.
  • Experience with procurement principals and processes.
  • Experience with continuous improvement efforts.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at once.
  • Experience in building both internal and external customer/team member relationships.

 

 

Preferred Knowledge

 

  • Working knowledge of cloud (on-demand), Hosted Services, and SaaS/ PaaS models, cloud -based commerce/ business networks
  • SAP Ariba solution/product knowledge
  • Understanding Customer/Supplier interface
  • Experience in B2B ecommerce, especially in direct materials
  • Project Management Certification
  • SAP Business suite / AIN & LBN
  • Basic understanding of Lean methodologies
  • Industry experience in Natural Resources & Public Sector

 

Language Requirement

    • Fluent in English, Chinese and Japanese
