The Business Process Senior Consultant (PLM/EAM) shall provide deep subject matter expertise and content around the area of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and/or Product Lifecycle Management(PLM), that facilitates the implementation and support of on-prem and cloud-based solutions, across the entire SAP product portfolio in order to enhance the clients’ business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.   


The consultant will partner with the client to analyze and define business requirements, processes and objectives to scope project and deliverables for same.   The consultant will implement, customize, and test solutions on client system and develop client-specific enhancements to meet business requirements as needed; as well as: 

  • Be actively involved in the preparation, conceptualization, realization and Go-Live of customer implementation projects
  • Perform feasibility studies and process design reviews
  • Take responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks
  • Develop detailed plan of process implementation
  • Define detailed blueprint for development requirements
  • Lead industry/corporate process implementation across all related applications (SAP/non-SAP)
  • Develop and assure quality of process models
  • Demonstrate profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools
  • Assist in the development of the overall project plan (scoping process) as well as individual work plans; acting as liaison with client for troubleshooting (investigates, analyses, and solves software problems)
  • Analyze and map clients’ business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs. 
  • Support the NA Services Organization with implementation projects, pre-sales support (estimating), spot consulting and internal projects and commit to the success of customers, partners, colleagues, and SAP
  • *Up to 30% travel may be required (considering the current situation)


In addition to a bachelor/master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or other relevant degree, and a minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience, the successful candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of consulting experience
  • Must have expert level experience in the SAP EAM or SAP PLM solution (S/4HANA and ECC)
  • Intelligent Asset Management (IAM) solutions expertise is a plus (Asset Intelligence Network - AIN, Predictive Asset Insights - PAI, Asset Strategy and Performance Management - ASPM)
  • Professional experience with large, multi-national software/IT organizations and with a demonstrated expertise in SAP’s EAM and/or PLM solution
  • Experience with EAM/PLM business processes and various related industry experience
  • Good knowledge of SAP integration to S/4HANA or ECC.
  • Experience with SAP Implementation Methodologies (ASAP, Activate, Sprints, Advanced Deployment, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Rapid Deployment Solutions (RDS) Approach, Assemble to Order (A2O), Engineered Services (ES), Model Company, etc.
  • Knowledge of SAP’s Industry 4.0 Strategy and applications
  • Knowledge of SAP’s Design to Operate (DTO) Strategy, Approach, and applications
  • Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform is a plus.
  • Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge/experience with Siemens Teamcenter solutions is a plus.
  • Formal SAP certification in a related application area is a plus
  • Working knowledge of cloud, Hosted Services, and SaaS/ PaaS models, cloud-based commerce/business networks is a plus
  • Customer-facing experience with strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the client company
  • Fluency in English, any other language an asset
