In Solution Advisory, we listen and get to know a customer’s business. We learn what needs to change and why. We help business leaders ideate and think through what is possible. The Team

The Role

As a member of the ISBN National Practice Team, you will invest in the leadership of the practice and lead key initiatives to drive business outcomes across North America.  As deep expert you will also help support opportunities across the practice.  As a deep specialist in the ISBN space, you will focus on one or more of the following areas:

· Source to Settle Process for Indirect Goods Procurement

· Source to Settle Process for Indirect Services Procurement

· Source to Settle Process for Direct Materials Procurement


As the solution expert, you will:

· Lead the solution component of the ISBN sales cycles

· Conduct discovery sessions in advance of a demonstration or key presentation with representatives from the prospective customer to build relationships and understand their unique needs

· Drive a prescriptive outcome with your customers in partnership with the account team

· Be the face of SAP and bring the solution to life through visual storytelling and demonstrations

· Effectively present to customers remotely using virtual technologies

· Represent SAP’s current cloud solutions and future direction

· Demonstrate deep industry knowledge to maintain credibility with prospective customers

· Position SAP considering the competitive landscape

· Provide answers to customer / internal SAP team inquiries concerning advanced solution topics

· Speak about technical topics in every-day language

· Develop a reputation for excellence in customer engagement

· Share your knowledge with the greater Solution Advisory community

· Collaborate on strategic internal projects

· Define the vision for how we demonstrate our solutions to our prospects and customers

While people might not use the word “Guru” out loud to describe you, it is what they will be thinking!


Qualifications and Experience – Do yours line up?

Hint: you don’t have to be an expert in everything and it’s okay if you haven’t had a Presales role in the past. If what you’ve read so far excites you, we want to talk!


· 10+ years of relevant presales OR Sourcing, Procurement, AP/Finance, Supply Chain Planning and Execution experience

· Extensive knowledge/background in Supply Chain end-to-end business processes

· Superior presentation and written communication skills



· Bachelor equivalent: preferred

· Master equivalent: optional
