What you’ll do
Our customers need to be confident that their sensitive corporate data is well protected and accessible only to authorized individuals. We must ensure that all our software used by our customers is protected against unauthorized access. We, the ABAP Security team, develop software that ensures exactly this for all SAP products that are built on the ABAP Platform with ABAP Cloud. This includes frameworks for secure and automated logon mechanisms, for identity and access management, for secure data management using common encryption methods, and for monitoring all access to system and data.
 
We want to expand our ABAP Security team and we are looking for passionate developers to join.
 
You will:

• learn more about and become an expert in the increasingly important area of software security
• be part of a diverse agile scrum team with passionate and engaged co-developers
• develop and maintain code in ABAP or C/C++ that ensures security in our products
• be included in the complete development life cycle and be responsible for the parts you work on

    
What you bring

• University degree in computer science, natural sciences, engineering, or similar
• Knowledge of an object-oriented programming language
• Interest in software security
• A sense for mastering complexity: Abstract and analytical thinking plus structuring and problem-solving skills
• Team spirit: Work collaboratively with open and trustful communication
• Fluency in German and English – written and verbal
