We are currently recruiting for a new team in Business Process Intelligence (BPI). In this role, you’ll iterate quickly with a high energy team delivering technical excellence designing and developing a scalable SaaS solution in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You’ll be part of the team to help ensure that we use the most suitable technologies and the right approach to turn customer requirements into generic features. You’ll also work together with product management, designers, and end-users to ensure product success.

Our product stack mainly relies on: 

• Node.js Developer
• HANA Cloud
• Micro Service Architecture
• REACT framework and SAP UI5 libraries

Tools include: 

• Jenkins for continuous integration 
• Git as source control systems 
• JEST framework for unit test automation & X-RAY for test management
• JIRA and Confluence for team collaboration 

Responsibilities

• You feel home at both node js backend parts as well as being comfortable with the Javascript/React frontend.
• You own your code from ideation to development, and through QA and support
• Work together with design, frontend engineers and product management to deliver new and improve existing features.
• Help improve existing Product Architecture and coach other Backend Engineers by sharing best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience working in software development
• Excellent hands on experience in Node.JS / Javascript or typescript
• Hands- on experience in software engineering
• Deep knowledge of agile software development processes and experience with development processes driven by regular code reviews
• Aware of the fast-changing IT landscape and confident to suggest new innovative ways to achieve product features.

Requirements we support a learning curve on

• Creating & deploying solutions in Microsoft VSCode & CI/CD environments in SAP BTP Unified Runtime
• Agile software development
• Understanding of modern cloud application development
• DevOps, continuous integration and delivery
