Within this role you will

  • Work with a highly experienced team of technical experts within SAP Center of Expertise
  • Collaborate with teams in other regions across the globe
  • Be accountable for critical projects and deliver CoE services / projects as lead
  • Assume the role of onsite De-Escalation Architect for mission critical services
  • Drive new initiatives and activities as part of the CoE
  • Multiply expertise in the team with knowledge sharing.
  • Adapt standard service products to customer’s individual needs
  • Develop and execute service and de-escalation plans for critical customers
  • Identify top issues of engagements at critical customers and bridge the gaps
  • Support our customers in their transformation and specifically embrace the New Max Attention support model
  • Support customers of all sizes across EU, LA, and US regions 


  • Graduated with an Honours Degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering / Mathematics or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years working experience with Oracle and SAP Basis as system administrator or related role
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Strong skills of root cause analysis and troubleshooting
  • Experience in monitoring database health and troubleshooting database performance issues
  • Experience in active system monitoring and general performance issue resolution
  • High standard of customer focus, teamwork and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication skills 

About the Team 
We work as part of a global team in the COE to support customers across the globe running on non-HANA databases, including Oracle, IBM, MSSQL, and Sybase. We also provide expertise on hardware, performance, and basis topics.
