Partner Service Delivery (PSD) is a global organisation focused on the proactive and reactive enablement of over 6,000 SAP partners globally (Channel, Service, and Software). The team offers a range of enablement and support services to SAP’s Partner Ecosystem.

PSD is developing its team in Ireland to support their partners to continually grow in size and scope and the role of the Partner Service Advisor (PSA) :

This opportunity is a highly responsible Inside Sales Relationship Management role where the candidate develops and maintains a 1:1 professional relationship with a number of designated SAP Partners.

 

The PSA proactively drives the relationship with the partner and will have a series of remote 1:1 meetings, with the emphasis on identifying the partner’s business needs and building a long term relationship. With this regular interaction the PSA is then able to identify and offer advice on areas of the Partners business that would benefit from our extensive portfolio of enablement services.

 

The PSA will maintain focus on increasing partner satisfaction and productivity, while contributing to SAP’s growth strategy. The PSA is also responsible for building a network of strong relationships with key stakeholders inside the SAP organisation, to ensure that there is full alignment in communicating with the partners. The PSA is assessed on the successful execution of the enablement plan per partner, with most services measurable through partner action or revenue performance. The PSA is also assessed based on Partner Satisfaction of their assigned partners.

 

Please note this role is a 12 month contract role.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Experience of account or partner management
  • Proven experience in one of the following industries:
  • Account Management in the Software / IT Industry sector
    • Pre-Sales
    • Professional services & support roles
    • Partner management
    • Consulting
  • Creative thinking, willingness and ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies
  • A pro-active and result-oriented team-player with strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
  • Confidence working across all levels in an organisation and possess strong stature and presence.  Must be highly credible both internally and externally
  • Experience with support systems, message handling and remote communication tools (e.g. WebEx, NetMeeting, Interwise, Computer Based Training…etc.) as well as Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English and another European language - Italian ideally

 

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Knowledge and technical experience with SAP would be a distinct advantage
  • Business/IT Degree

  • Clear understanding of partnership management in IT space
  • Knowledge of sales/marketing & partner relationship process
  • Understanding of end-to-end business processes
  • Demonstrable strong interpersonal and team-working abilities, coaching skills an advantage
  • Problem Analysis and problem resolution abilities
  • Strong level of technical credibility from the partner’s perspective, as such a strong IT/Software industry background is an advantage
  • Relationship building/networking capabilities
  • Provide to assigned partners operational support and enablement services to facilitate partner’s interaction with SAP and guarantee a successful collaboration
  • Trouble-shooting various issues the partner is facing in his partnership program, processes as well as systems and portals.
  • Proactively deliver services to assigned partners that help them improve their performance and revenue contribution to SAP. Contribute to the overall partner experience and thus improve the partner satisfaction
