SUMMARY 

We are seeking for a passionate hands-on Java Developer to add to our SAP Commerce team to drive the design and implementation of commerce solution.  

THE ROLE

As a member of the Agile development team, you will:

• develop and enhance the SAP Commerce product in cloud technologies: Java, Spring, microservices, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure
• Take ownership from the design of the feature through development to how it performs in production
• Contribute to ensuring high-quality code through following best practices, test automation and design patterns
• Actively participate in addressing non-functional requirements such as performance, security, continuous integration, migration and compatibility
• Do spikes and involve others in clarifying requirements and constraints
• Be an active member of one of our self-empowered Agile team producing software according to Agile principles
• Check out new technologies and introduce them to others to promote innovation and create business value

What you bring

• Professional experience in software development in Java/JVM-based languages
• Good understanding of design patterns and “clean code” principles 
• Experience and good understanding Spring framework and Spring Boot
• Experience and good understanding Kubernetes
• Passion for delivering frequent, quality, working results
• Strong commitment to consistently producing high-quality, functional outcome
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies, frameworks, etc. 
• Practical knowledge of relational databases 
• Experience in a Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) environment
• A good understanding of basic security and performance concepts
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
