ABOUT OUR IES SALES SOLUTIONS UNIT 

 

As part of SAP’s internal CIO organization Intelligent Enterprise Solutions, our IES Sales Solutions teams are responsible to design, engineer and operate Sales Solutions which serve our SAP salespeople with a best in class user experience to sell SAP’s products and services to our customers. This spans across SAP’s value streams from the Marketing Lead Handover, into Sales Planning, Sales Performance Management and Sales Deal Execution processes.

THE ROLE 

 

We are searching for a user experience focused software designer that would like to propel SAP’s own deal execution and configure-price-quote processes to the next level, embedding the following responsibility:  

 

  • Leading user research and get-to-see sessions with end users  

  • Leading the user design principles and practices with the other scrum team members 

  • Creating prototypes and mockups along the design and implementation phases 

  • Supporting end user testing, feedback loops and continuous improvement tracks 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS / THE ROLE REQUIREMENTS  

 

We are seeking for people with distinctive academic credentials, strategic thinking, superior problem-solving skills and a strong professional track record of results. In addition, we place high value on relevant personal qualities: resourcefulness, tenacity, high energy and self-confidence. The following skills are important to support the teams’ user-centric design and product vision:  

UX RESEARCH & USABILITY TESTING 

  • Analyzing User Behaviors, running User Surveys 

  • Hosting User Research Sessions & Organizing Onsite Visits with End Users 

  • Running User Observations and Surveys 

  • Creation of User Personas, Storyboards, Journey Maps 
     

IDEATION & PROTOTYPING 

  • Facilitation of Brainstorming Sessions, e.g. with Stakeholders or Dev Teams 

  • Designing Sketches, Wireframes and Mockups 

  • Creation of interactive & clickable Prototypes 

  • Tools: Adobe XD, Axure, InVision, Sketch etc. 

 

DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT & TESTING 

  • Creation of Design Specs (measurements, specifications, colors, fonts, etc.) 

  • Design & Creation of UI Assets (visualizations, icons, images, etc.) 

  • Working in the SAP Design-Led-Development Process (incl. Agile Development) 

  • End User Testing with focus on User Experience 

  • Tools: SAP Build, Web IDE, Apple Xcode etc. 

 

 

WORK EXPERIENCE 

A successful candidate has 1-3 years of professional work experience.  At least 1 project/product lifecycle, preferably in a design-led development approach.
