During your rotating practical phases, you will have the opportunity to work in different teams and gain insights into various topics. Job description:

Regardless of your master’s program or focus area, you will find various departments and topics at SAP from which you can choose from. You will spend your practical phases primarily at our office location in Munich, but you will also be able to spend a practical phase abroad.

Your official start date at SAP is March 1st, 2023. During your semester break, you will work full-time at SAP, i.e. 40 hours per week. During the semester, you will work on average 16 hours per week at the company. You will be able to schedule your working time flexibly in accordance to your university schedule and the requirements of your department.

At the end of your studies, you will write your master’s thesis in cooperation with SAP. For your personal and professional development, there will be plenty of training options for pursuing your individual development goals.

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a grade average of 2.0 or better
  • Acceptance letter for or enrollment in one of the following master’s programs at TUM: Informatics, Information Systems with focus area Computational Science and Engineering, Data Engineering and Analytics or Robotics, Cognition, Intelligence or Management and Technology
  • Advanced knowledge in the pursued master’s program (e.g. we expect well-grounded technical knowledge and programming as well as data analytics skills for students of Information Systems)
  • First professional experience through apprenticeships, long-term internships or working student positions is a plus
  • Excellent level of English, both written and spoken
  • Self-starter and the willingness to learn everyday
  • Social thinking and acting are preferred


Degree: Master of Science (M.Sc.)

Duration: 2 years       Start date: March 1st, 2023


Working hours: on average 20h/week

Salary: 1st year: EUR 1830,-   2nd year: EUR 1950,-
