This position requires access to customer data.  Must be a U.S. citizen; SAP NS2 does not offer Visa sponsorships for this role. All internals must have manager’s approval to transfer.

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented SaaS Cloud New Feature Delivery Intern to support our cloud delivery team in rolling out new features, products, and services within our SaaS cloud environment. This internship provides hands-on experience in cloud operations, feature deployment, release management, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will gain exposure to the full feature delivery lifecycle, from initial assessment to implementation and post-release validation.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in tracking and managing the rollout of new SaaS features across cloud environments.
  • Work with engineering, product management, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment of new features.
  • Review and document implementation workflows, including pre-release testing and post-release monitoring.
  • Support coordination efforts between development, security, and cloud operations teams.
  • Monitor cloud environments for performance and stability post-feature deployment.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of automation processes related to feature delivery.
  • Analyze system logs, user feedback, and incident reports to contribute to feature performance evaluations.
  • Assist in the creation of knowledge base articles and process documentation for new feature rollouts.
  • Contribute to internal reporting on feature implementation status, risks, and impact.
     

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cloud Computing, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and SaaS architectures.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting or automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for cloud technology, SaaS environments, and continuous learning.
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Zabbix, and Nessus.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and release management best practices.
  • Prior internship or project experience in cloud operations, feature deployment, or related areas.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
