Candidate must be located in the DC Metro area and be able to work a hybrid work schedule in Herndon, VA.
This role serves as the Assistant to the NVP Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC). Successful candidate will be responsible for business process improvements and program management.
Responsibilities:
- Tracking and monitoring all GRC actions, ensuring timely delivery of due outs, tracking and monitoring suspenses, correspondence, and currency of policies and procedures
- Work closely with the NVP GRC on strategic initiatives and improvements within the GRC portfolio
- Responsible for the Ariba portfolio with both current and future authorizations
- Works within GRC risk management systems to ensure tracking is recorded, evidence is complete and accurate
- Attends meetings with customers representing SAP NS2 Executive and Senior management, and when requested, takes official notes, ensures information is disseminated to the GRC team
- Serves as the GRC representative to the Knowledge Management effort, identifies points of contact and responsible individuals to support various projects and initiatives
- Ensures follow up occurs and timely responses are sent
- Works closely with GRC Directors and Team Leads to coordinate responses to taskers and ensures coherent, cohesive responses
- Collects weekly activity reports and summarizes into a single report to the NVP, GRC
- Collects metrics from all areas and creates reports for NVP GRC and/or SAP NS2 Executives, as required
- Ensures GRC input to Micro Ops Reviews is correct and submitted timely
- Manages the GRC library of presentations and ensures consistency of tagging and filing; works with GRC teams to ensure all appropriate processes, procedures, policies and other GRC artifacts are tagged, stored and maintained in the appropriate repositories
- Coordinates with the Security Chief of Staff to ensure GRC taskers are handled promptly and efficiently
- Expected to be able to present briefings to customers and Senior Staff if requested
Requirements:
Successful candidate will have knowledge and experience with cybersecurity, including understanding of Federal Regulations
Must have experience in oversight of large projects and metric identification/usage
Successful customer interaction
Preferred Qualifications:
- CISSP, or other relevant security cerfification
- PMP, or other project management certification
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 164700 - 280100(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
