Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Cloud Infrastructure Operations to lead our Single Tenant Cloud Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, excellent leadership abilities, and a strong track record of managing large-scale cloud deployments. The Vice President (VP) of Cloud Infrastructure Operations is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of the organization's single tenant cloud infrastructure.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement single tenant cloud infrastructure strategies that align with the organization's business goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of cloud engineers and architects responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of the organization's cloud-based systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement cloud-based solutions that meet their specific needs.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage relationships with cloud service providers and other third-party vendors.
  • Develop and manage the cloud infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective use of cloud resources.
  • Stay current with developments in cloud technologies and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvements.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with cloud automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Range Transparency

SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 244700 - 415900(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
