Responsibilities

  • Administer Tableau and PowerBI servers (installation, patching, regression testing)
  • Configure tools for secure access (SSL/TLS, etc.) from users / to SAP HANA
  • Integrate analytic tools to connect with SAP HANA via PKI single sign-on
  • Integrate and upgrade analytic tools within a sandbox environment
  • Perform load testing and capacity planning for Tableau and PowerBI servers
  • Configure and tune Tableau and PowerBI servers for optimal performance via best practices
  • Troubleshoot visualization tool issues with Salesforce and Microsoft support engineers
  • Evaluate, plan, test, and execute security patching

Desired Experience

  • Understanding of business intelligence suites (Tableau, PowerBI, COGNOS, etc.)
  • Understanding of relational database and analytic object access methods (JDBC/ODBC/MDX)
  • Experience with reporting/analysis tools – PowerBI, Tableau, Jupyter Notebooks, Python, R
  • Experience with enterprise-scale relational databases (SAP HANA preferred)
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, and scripting
  • Experience with Active Directory and SAML authentication configuration
  • Experience with SSL/TLS and PKI authentication configuration
  • Experience with administration of an operational software system

 

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Professional certification(s) desired

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI + Polygraph

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role.
