SAP iXp Intern - Project and Process Coordinator
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
As a Project & Process Coordinator Intern, you will support a portfolio of global operations initiatives within the Adoption and Consumption Practices & Platform team. You will work closely with your designated project lead to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders, track timelines and deliverables, and ensure clear follow-through on key actions across multiple workstreams.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining project plans and status updates, preparing meeting notes and summaries, and supporting day-to-day project execution. In parallel, you will document existing workflows and help create clear, structured Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), templates, and playbooks that enable consistent and scalable execution across regions.
Through this work, you will contribute to large-scale, global programs that span multiple topics, departments, and regions. The deliverables you create will be actively leveraged to improve visibility, alignment, and operational efficiency. The role offers direct exposure to a broad global network of stakeholders and programs, providing insight into how cross-functional initiatives are designed, coordinated, and scaled in a global organization.
You will collaborate with team members and stakeholders across different functions and time zones and receive regular guidance, feedback, and mentorship from your manager and project leads within a supportive global team environment.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
Educational & Experience Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations, Management, or a related field
- Available to work full-time for the full 6-month internship duration
- No prior full-time work experience required; internship, academic project, or part-time experience in business, operations, or project coordination is sufficient
- Experience working in team-based, fast-paced, or ambiguous environments (academic, extracurricular, or professional) is an advantage
Technical and Functional Skills
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of basic project management concepts (e.g., timelines, milestones, dependencies, action tracking)
- Comfort using common productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., documents, spreadsheets, presentation tools)
Soft Skills and Mindset
- Flexible, agile, and comfortable navigating uncertainty or changing priorities
- Structured thinker who can bring clarity to complex or loosely defined work
- Highly collaborative, proactive, and willing to ask questions
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt and apply feedback
- Reliable, accountable, and able to manage multiple tasks in parallel
This role is designed for a motivated intern with strong foundational skills rather than deep prior experience. Training, guidance, and mentorship will be provided. We value curiosity, adaptability, and a strong work ethic over perfect technical proficiency, and we encourage candidates who meet most—but not necessarily all—of the requirements to apply.
