Position Brief
The Demand Management and Business Development Executive drives the execution of growth plans across the APJ target market for both Premium engagement services and other Services initiatives cross- industry and customer segment.  Defines our competitive advantage to establish the key reasons for customers and prospects to leverage SAP Services to achieve strategic business objectives. Working with Regional and MU leadership the executive will develop and execute Demand generation plans to achieve agreed levels of sales pipeline coverage against budgets for assigned target segments and the relevant Services. 

Responsible for building and nurturing pipeline of sales opportunities and incremental revenue aligned with the Sales teams, focusing on leads within the scope of the initiative. The executive will build and execute upon strategic outbound campaigns to obtain additional leads and engage with MU teams to nurture and develop the opportunities to convert them to pipeline. The position is in the APJ mission, opened for applicants in the region, preferably in Malaysia, India, and the Philippines. 

 

Responsibilities

•    Leading key initiatives at the regional level to enhance impact and demand generation for the planned initiatives
•    Engages with Services Global, Regional and MU teams to identify and develop Sales plays relevant for the planned Service Solutions
•    Collaborate with the MU Business Development teams to identify opportunities with specific focus on positioning the latest portfolio for relevant SAP Service Solution area, in alignment with SAP Services strategy
•    Ensures that initiatives are delivered on scope, on budget and on time and will coordinate periodic status meetings and be responsible for detailed status reporting to applicable global, regional, local leadership. 
•    Responsible for identifying performance improvement ideas and working with the leadership to implement these ideas
•    Effectively leverage Services support teams who are there to support customer success
•    Engages with Market units effectively to co-own and drive campaigns/ initiatives for demand generation
•    Work alongside other SBO teams for developing new initiatives and frame dashboard reporting

 

Skills & Competencies

•    Demonstrates a good understanding of the overall SAP Services portfolio
•    The mindset to keep active & makes things happen.
•    Experience with managing internal stakeholders and managing through virtual teams
•    Minimum of 6 years’ experience working in the IT industry 
•    Strong business acumen

•    Experience in running an SAP engagement and meeting customer needs
•    Excellent networking and relationship skills - able to achieve trusted coach status with SP/SAE, and form strong working relationships within SAP
