We are looking for highly motivated and customer-focused team member to build the Platform, Technology and Innovation presales (primary focus on Analytics, Data Management, Cloud Platform/Full-stack, and Innovation tech) within SAP SEA ICA organization. 


The Presales Specialist is responsible for leading and/or supporting sales cycles for Business Technology Platform deals, not limiting to, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and services components of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), serving customers together with our partner ecosystem in SAP SEA Market Unit. In addition, the role will support the possible innovations in the context of SAP’s Digital Transformation Strategy or based on customer inputs, resulting in creating fast prototypes using SAP BTP and convert them into use-cases/success stories for customer references/showcases.

Responsibilities include also the following:

  • Qualify customer requirements in discovery engagements and give recommendations for best solution fit to ensure we address customers’ needs
  • Create a convincing and innovative customer experience through exciting solution demos and presentations
  • Drive customer development through interactive workshop formats using Design Thinking methods, or other suitable Value deriving methodology
  • Enable internal resources with solid background know-how in SAC and BTP
  • Always stay on top-notch knowledge around the functional capabilities of SAC, and BTP
  • Support customer events and demand generations campaigns
  • Drive and/or contribute to qualified customers’ Proof of Concept proposal
  • Work closely with our Sales, Demand Generation and Partner ecosystem
  • Expected Proficiency in:
    • Business and Technical positioning of SAP BTP propositions, not limiting to, HANA technologies, core BTP for development(Full-stack), SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datawarehouse Cloud, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP IoT, SAP Cloud Integration Suite, Business Process Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation, etc
    • Design Thinking or other Ideation methodology 
    • SAP Business Value tools, not limiting to, BSR, Pathfinder, Spotlight, Process Insights, etc
    • General knowledge of SAP S/4HANA/C, Machine Learning, BigData (Hadoop), Data modelling in both SQL & NoSQL
    • Able to support Programming languages, no limiting to, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, NodeJS, HTML5 framework, etc



  • Experienced presales or consultant professional with 4+ years working experience and good technical understanding on cloud technologies
  • Preferred exposed solution knowledge in SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BTP (experience on Full-stack, DevOps, Integration Suite, and Automation)
  • Good-to-have skills:
    • General Cloud Computing/Architecture skills – namely in cloud/hybrid deployment architecture design
    • Data Management knowledge – solutions similar to Datawarehouse design, BigData concept, Data Intelligence and Machine Learning
    • Understanding of solutions similar to SAP Business Process Intelligence (BPI)
    • Able to converse on ITSM strategy for low-code/no-code development platform for quick-to-market business improvements
  • Language skills: Fluency (spoken and written) in English, any other language(s) is/are consider additional advantage
  • Good understanding of SAP business strategy and solutions, partners, markets and competition
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to de-escalate problematic situations
  • Self-motivated to strive for continuous learning
