What you'll do:
We are looking for a leader with a profound knowledge of the CP&R Industry to support our large Enterprise Customers in Switzerland in their digital transformation by jointly designing their future processes, define required capabilities and derive the appropriate architecture and roadmap. You are inspiring customers and prospects to innovate with us by making the benefits of SAP’s capabilities tangible to the customer. 


The Architect Advisor (AA) works closely with SAP’s Sales organization and the Partner ecosystem to define the account strategy. AAs are responsible for bridging the gap between the customer’s business strategy and relevant solutions through crafting the to-be business and solution architectures and designing a transformation roadmap at the enterprise level to facilitate the customer’s adoption of Cloud-based architectures. They are trusted advisors for the customer to achieve their desired to-be SAP-based Enterprise Architecture.  Your success is based on your understanding of the trends shaping the industry, your knowledge of the context of the current situation of our customers, your knowledge of our solution portfolio and the capability to derive a compelling value proposition for the customer.  You need to be able to build rapport with very different stakeholders at the customer, on all hierarchical levels. You can never be successful alone in this role, so teamwork should be part of your DNA. Handling pressure and managing multiple engagements simultaneously is something you know how to deal with.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Bring your expertise in IT, Business and/or Enterprise Architecture, with skills you gained in consulting, business development, sales or solution management showcasing successful outcomes and impact over multiple years in software/IT organizations.
  • Follow and understand the market developments in the CP&R Industry in Switzerland and Europe.
  • Lead key customer engagements in the CP&R industry from an architectural perspective and become the trusted advisor for your customers.
  • Engage with C-level and other business stakeholders to understand business requirements, current and future business demand and industry trends and define the added value of SAP 
  • Map SAP solution capabilities to the customer requirements.
  • Guide customers in defining and implementing a transformation roadmap towards a common goal.
  • Challenge the customer with new ideas, inspire and generate demand.
  • Present SAP and partner solutions and processes from an industry end-to-end view and apply high level business process best practices.
  • As a key member of the account team, define and execute the account strategy based on business needs and incremental solution opportunities.
  • Build a strong network inside the SAP CP&R industry community
  • Maintain and expand the partner network to define and manage joint go-to-market activities and customer engagements.


What you bring:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Presales, Consulting, Architect, Business Development and / or experience in several business functions at customers in the CP&R industry
  • Experience in industry specific business processes, Sales and sales processes, Project Management, Agile Frameworks, Teamwork, Delivery of high-volume short duration work packages
  • Master / MBA / Ph.D.: optional
  • Native speaker equivalent German language skills, fluency in English. French / Swiss German skills are an advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of the SAP Solution suite, with an CP&R background
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture management, methodology (e.g. TOGAF), and respective tools (e.g. LeanIX) would be a plus.
  • Proven experience of driving tangible outcomes in Enterprise Architecture for customers.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Functional leadership and project management experience is an advantage.
  • Proven interpersonal and team skills at all levels and ideally multi-cultural environments.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of SAP business strategy and solutions, partners, markets, and competition.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to de-escalate problematic situations.
  • Open mindedness and ability to quickly adapt to new requirements.
  • Outstanding drive for execution.
  • Proven “can do / will do“ attitude.
  • Cloud mindset.
