Internship : Quality Assurance Automation Engineer F/M

What you'll do :

First, you’ll be onboarded within the team to understand the SAP Analytics Cloud solution, our development culture and delivery process, then as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you’ll:

• Work together with scrum teams composed of software developers, quality engineers, and product experts to understand and analyze features requirements
• Analyze, define, implement, and execute quality and test related activities according to test strategies
• Build UI and API Test automation using adequate tools (Jasmine, Selenium, etc.)
• Raise defects and ensure the fix is well delivered by development team
• Collaborate in the implementation of the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipelines (CI/CD)

What you bring :

We’re looking for a team player who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious:

• Candidates working on MS or Engineering in Computer Science or related fields 
• Good knowledge of software development life cycle and Quality Assurance methodologies
• Programming skills for UI development and skills with programming languages like Java, JavaScript (UI5 and React), test automation frameworks like Selenium, Jasmine, Cucumber 
• Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub
• Experience with one or more of scripting and build automation tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English and French (at least B2 level in both)

Our team is part of SAP HANA Database & Analytics organization, our mission is to contribute to SAP Cloud transformation, our product is SAP Analytics Cloud. The SAP Analytics Cloud solution combines BI, augmented and predictive analytics, with planning capabilities into one cloud environment. As the analytics layer of SAP’s Business Technology Platform, it supports advanced analytics enterprise-wide.

Based in Paris and working closely with different SAP Analytics Cloud development teams across the globe (Walldorf, Vancouver, Dublin, Shanghai, Bangalore, and others), our team is responsible of building and delivering high-level front-end components for SAP Analytics Cloud solution. We manage all phases of software development, from design to operational support, implementation, quality assurance and deployment.

We offer a 6-months internship to a student in computer science engineering to work within our development team on Quality Assurance Automation topics. This student will be under the responsibility of a manager and a technical coach.

Duration : 6 months

Start date : september 2024

In accordance with the French legislation, for any duration over 2 months, this internship is paid in line with the SAP gratification grid.
