Junior Associate (f/m/d) for SAP Responsible Design & Production (Circular Economy)

What you’ll do
 

We are looking for a team-oriented and result-driven Junior Developer (f/m/d), who likes to follow agile engineering practices and is enthusiastic to gain knowledge in the architecture and processes of SAP’s cloud solutions.

 

As Junior Developer (f/m/d) within the RDP (Responsible Design & Production) team you will:

  • Participate actively in each stage of the software lifecycle of our cloud solution, namely backlog definition, specification, design, implementation, quality assurance, delivery, operation, and maintenance.
  • Take on responsibility for distinct software parts and services.
  • Demonstrate proficient software development skills, complemented by a passion for creating top-quality applications.
  • Timely accomplish designated tasks and responsibilities, ensuring optimum quality and performance.
  • Exhibit self-drive, independent decision-making skills, and adaptability while working in an agile development setting.
  • Engage collaboratively with peers within and beyond your team.
  • Contribute to project planning, execution, and testing stages, ensuring delivery of superior results within stipulated timelines.

 

What you bring

 

  • University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering 
  • Good skills in programming in Java, JavaScript, and Spring Boot, Cloud Technologies
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and continuous delivery pipelines
  • Understanding of software design patterns, testing, and security best practices
  • Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Open-mindedness, willingness, and interest to learn and grow
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; fluent Business English and German 

 

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge in Cloud Foundry, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Basic knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP UI5, SAP CAP and SAP HANA
  • Knowledge in DevOps tools like Jenkins, Cloud Logging, Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions, feature toggles, and continuous integration pipelines
