Job Description:

 

Business Transformation Services (BTS), the advisory arm of SAP’s Services organization, is seeking an Advisory Architect to lead innovation and digital transformation initiatives for our customers. This key leadership role requires a deep understanding of SAP solutions, core business processes, and industry best practices. The position is focused on the Northeast Market unit and involves close collaboration with sales teams and extensive engagement with executive stakeholders, partners, and SAP account teams.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Leadership:

   - Collaborate with sales and services colleagues to position and solution Services engagements.

   - Facilitate architecture discussions with customer IT and business executives.

   - Develop 3–5-year strategic roadmaps for enterprise business solution portfolios.

 

Stakeholder Engagement:

   - Effectively engage across multiple functions and teams to define clear requirements.

   - Guide customer teams in using Enterprise Architecture frameworks and implementing business process modeling.

 

Transformation and Governance:

   - Influence transition states toward joint business outcomes.

   - Leverage industry and SAP reference architectures.

   - Establish governance models for customers.

 

Delivery and Qualification:

   - Prior experience as a transformation leader, Enterprise Architect, or Solution Architect.

   - Understand and manage the sales origination and qualification process.

 

Qualifications:

 

Leadership & Communication:

  - Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead customer engagements at an executive level.

  - Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

 

Technical Expertise:

  - Passionate about cloud innovation and SAP’s Go-To Market strategy.

  - Track record as a Presales Architect with the ability to manage the pursuit lifecycle.

  - Experienced in solution proposals and estimating financial impacts.

 

Experience & Education:

  - 10+ years of enterprise architecture (business & IT) experience.

  - Subject Matter Expert in Record to Report, Order to Cash, Manufacturing Operations, or Supply Chain.

  - Relevant SAP and enterprise architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Open CA, IASA) valued.

  - Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

  - Master’s degree in information systems or business administration preferred.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 197600 - 335900 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
