What you’ll do:

 

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Media Relations (LAC)

Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid) 

Expected start date: ASAP 

 

The SAP iXp Intern - Media Relations (LAC)  will significantly contribute to shaping SAP's reputation and driving impactful narratives across key Latin American markets.

 

Project/Deliverables: 

 

  • Support external communications programs for the Latin American and the Caribbean region in order to inform, engage, and inspire journalists, analysts, bloggers, and influencers 
  • Support the development and deployment of regional communications campaigns and programs targeted to media, analysts, and key influencers.
  • Support the writing and editing of press releases, bylines, blog posts, and other external communications materials, ensuring alignment with the company's messaging.
  • Draft and compile regular external communications reports (weekly, monthly, and quarterly), summarizing key activities, achievements, and metrics.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of external events, such as media trips, conferences, industry studies, etc.
  • Coordinate initiatives between the communications team and PR agencies in Latin America
  • Learn and contribute to the management of media monitoring tool Signal AI, to track media coverage, identify trends, and provide insights into public sentiment.
  • Keep monthly track of yearly set KPIs related to external communications activities.
  • Contribute to internal communication channels, such as the SAP Daily News newsletter and Behind the Headline, to provide regular updates on external communications activities, key achievements, and results in the LAC region.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, media landscape changes, and relevant news to enhance communications effectiveness.

  • Educational requirements: Currently enrolled in an academic program or recent graduate. Preferred Majors/Concentration: Journalism, marketing, communications, advertising

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
