Objective: Increase SAP profile in Public Sector and build mid to long term pipeline (2yrs +) supporting the targeted increase in SAP UK PS market share.

Focus: Initially Central Government and NHS

 

Role: 

 

This a mid to long term business development role engaging on SAP business development and public sector thought leadership

 
  •         Building and reinforcing SAP's relationships with UK Government , primarily civil servants in DDAT professions, service delivery, operational roles and relevant politicians and political entities.
  •         Leverage engagements with trade associations and other civil society groups to grow SAP profile and increase awareness of SAP’s relevant capabilities and provide market intelligence
  •         Supporting SAP’s UK public sector sales team on pre-market and pre-procurement developments and insight into departmental forward planning.
  •         Close alignment with marketing, IBU, IVA and pre-sales.

 

Candidate specification:

 
  •         Business development experience ideally in the cloud services or software area

  •         Deep understanding of government budget, spending and procurement cycles

  •         Existing relevant network in Central Government and/or NHS
