PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

 

The EMEA Business Development Lead for SAP Store Partner Solutions will be regionally responsible for managing the funnel of partner pipeline and renewals working with partners, LoBs, SAP field, PES, and other internal functions in SAP Digital Commerce properties.  This role will manage the partner pipeline and renewals and work with LoBs, partner managers, and partners to close opportunities to drive SAP Store Partner revenues.  You will assist in field engagement, shaping the deals and triage of any challenges to drive bookings and cloud revenue for Digital Commerce.

The ideal candidate has a mix of business development and marketing skills - a strong sales acumen and understands the sales cycle, experience working with partner ecosystem, enjoy being hands-on with tools, and is a people person (can work with anyone!).  Help carry the mandate to fuel a thriving ecosystem of partners who are building or bringing differentiating IP to SAP across a variety of different engagement models and traditional partner designations.

 

The role will directly report into Head of SAP Store Partner Solutions and work regularly with the Global BD Lead and regional BD counterparts along with across Digital Commerce, PES, corporate functions such as Field Sales, Global Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance/Cloud Booking, as well as business unit leaders across all areas.

 

A successful candidate will be an individual with deep background in successful partner management, and a strong market knowledge in the enterprise software space. Deep experience with digital approaches for go-to-market models in this role. Candidate must have experience with major partners at the C-Suite level as well as working across all levels of the organization, relationships with SAP regional leadership, thrives on hard work and demonstrates strong business acumen with the highest levels of integrity and leadership skills.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Strong sales acumen and business development skills
  • Leadership and management of SAP Store Partner Solutions bookings, field compensation, and cloud revenue
  • Revenue generating responsibility across defined ISV partner channels; manage programs to maximize sales revenue from across all revenue generating ISV partners
  • Collaborate with field sales teams & LoBs to provide partners that add value to our current and prospective customers, identify incremental opportunities and assist in current sales pursuits
  • Work across demand gen and marketing teams to drive traffic to SAP Store
  • Be an evangelist for SAP Store
  • Drive field enablement

 

Desired Skills and Experience

 

  • Strong affinity for networking and building lasting relationships with partners
  • Strong understanding of SAP’s product, portfolio and technology strategy and priorities to identify ecosystem opportunities
  • Good understanding and network across SAP’s development functions and related processes to identify and address partner monetization opportunities
  • Proven track record of independently leading cross-functional teams successfully, with a strong team orientation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, quickly articulate a value propositions and conduct high-impact presentations to spur field engagement
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to express complex matters in a crisp and easy consumable fashion, ability to influence Senior Executives and build relationships across functions, levels and geographies
  • Masters degree or equivalent, ideally in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration
