Role Definition
Internal Strategic Consulting
Leads the ongoing Strategy planning effort at a corporate level (Board enterprise-wide); including the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business projects. Monitors the surrounding business environment to identify opportunities and risks for the organization. Provides advice and services to executive management to help implement the Business Strategy. Provide assistance, and eventually lead large, multi-faceted projects for the Global Corporate Development Team, as a part of the Project Management Office (PMO). Projects include acquisitions, divestitures, and a multitude of special projects.
Location: The role location is flexible across the UK and EU
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Manage Corporate Development projects as Project Lead
- Organize and lead large group meetings and activities associated with these meetings
- Understand Business case goals and achievements, and manage projects successfully against these requirements
- Ensure all groups and workstreams involved with a project are aligned and working toward similar goals
- Communicate with leadership on a regular basis to ensure important topics/issues are addressed at the appropriate level
- Deal with sensitive, confidential and complex situations
- Create engaging and professional PowerPoint presentations and develop standardized templates and presentations
- Understand and successfully function with SAP hierarchies
- Manage PMO communications and tools
- Support ad hoc internal projects and tasks as defined by leadership
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (5-15% travel)
Experience & Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Master’s degree in Business or related field a plus
- 8+ years of business operations experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task across multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-starter; works well independently; acute attention to detail
- General understanding of overall company operations (GTM, Product, Finance, HR, etc)
- Ability to relate and communicate well to people at all levels of the organization, virtually and in-person
- Willingness to adapt to changing situations, and ability to think outside of the box
- Comfortable with sharing opinions and proposing alternative solutions in collaborative situations
