The SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) is a technology platform that brings together data and analytics, artificial intelligence, application development, automation, and integration in one, unified environment. BTP is one of the highest profile and fastest growing parts of the SAP portfolio and critical to SAP helping our customers innovate and grow with SAP. In EMEA alone BTP represents a 1BN Euro business supporting > 8,500 customers. Aside from being the foundation for SAP applications it provides a modern platform of cloud capabilities to enables customers to extend, enhance and innovate above and beyond their existing applications.

The mission role of the BTP Customer Success Partner team is to proactively help customers drive a roadmap for BTP adoption and consumption across their organisation. We achieve this via a team of dedicated Customer Success Partners (CSPs) across EMEA who act as trusted advisors to strategic customers, and coordinate broad mix of activities (1:many customer events, onboarding, 121 expert reviews, use case development workshops, liaison with product management) to support the customers’ successful journey with SAP BTP.      

 

This role

Reporting directly to the Regional VP for EMEA, this CSP Associate role will entail providing vital analytical and operational support to a number of ongoing programmes across the EMEA region. Data analysis skills are key as it will include leveraging the vast amount of BTP consumption and renewals data to provide performance insights to the EMEA leadership team.  

  • Performance Analytics: Work closely with BTP Consumption analytics experts to provide analysis and insights into team KPIs, trends and drivers of BTP consumption growth
  • Consumption Data Validation: Support the monthly cACV publication process including coordinating the validation of consumption and billings data
  • Renewals/Churn: Own the day-to-day management of the BTP EMEA Renewals forecast, providing guidance to the regional leadership team and identifying triggers/causes of churn
  • Campaigns/Events: Provide programme support to BTP customer campaigns and activities targeted at adoption and consumption (e.g. helping with execution of Customer Success Days)
  • Miscellaneous Leadership team support: Various tasks to support leadership team (e.g. business reviews, QBRs, performance reports, ad-hoc projects)

It is an ideal role for somebody interested in becoming a CSP in the future and keen to get deeply involved in the heart of the EMEA organisation.   

 

What you bring

  • Experience working in the IT Industry. Your background could be Software Engineering, Solution Management, Project/Product Management, Project Implementation, Pre-sales, Technical Customer Engagement, Customer Success, Proactive Support Services, Consulting, Business Analytics, etc.
  • Have foundational knowledge of public cloud platforms and providers (e.g. Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, etc.)
  • Have basic understanding of one or more areas of the SAP BTP portfolio: Data & analytics, integration, AI, application development.
  • Strong Excel/Data analysis skills, experience with SAP Analytics Cloud or similar reporting tools is a plus.
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Confident liaising with senior stakeholders across the organisation
  • Communicate proactively and can prioritize efficiently. You have a strong sense of accountability.
  • Can manage complex organizational dynamics
  • Can continuously learn and adapt to the unique business and cultural practices of each region/country.
  • Have a passion for learning new technologies and enjoy problem solving.
