What you’ll do:

  1. Position title: SAP Consumer Industries Cloud Intern – Order Management Product Management
  2. Location: Montreal, Quebec, Remote possible
  3. Expected start date : 11th March 2024 

In this role you will be participating in the build phases of the product lifecycle, this includes gathering requirements, understand the WHY, participate in customer meetings, collaborate with engineering in implementation project, participate in competition analysis : The User will be working closely with the Lead Product Managers and Product owners, fulfilling all the artifacts to document a product functionality.

  • The User Accessibility documentation (in collaboration with our user accessibility expert)
  • The User journey including how features work, how users can interact with the products, ... (in collaboration with our user experience team)
  • Training documents for our users to support them in onboarding them on the product
  • Maintain and update the list of capabilities and features delivered within the product

          

The intern will:

  • Document the UI of the product (With UX + UA):
  • Document the interfaces, how they interact together, how they map with the back-end schema, database fields etc… and the specific business rules behind it
  • Help UA updating the external OSTA documentation.
  • Create support and training documents for internal and external users
  • Maintain the list of features for the Product
  • Based on the Lead PM needs, you will establish a “List of features/capabilities” to ensure and maintain the internal communication. Each feature will be explained through a “1 liner” to ensure clarity about the feature description.
  • Suggest product enhancements to improve User Experience
  • Monitor and report on users’ reactions after launching
  • Overall UA documentation update
  • Clear and Update our documentation
  • You will bring a business-sensitivity and work jointly with the UA to update the documentation as required.
  • Involvement in customer discussion / document customer + partner requirements
  • You will participate in several meetings for new opportunities or partnership where the customer/partners describe business needs / features.
  • You will assist the Lead PM to refine the documentation, have a central place with the business needs expressed and keep this up to date.
  • Other Responsibilities
  • Create an intake form in our Product Management tool : Create a process and form to allow the stakeholders to “Suggest an idea/new feature” and keep these requests tracked/documented.
  • Conduct research to identify customer needs and market gaps
  • Analyze competition

What you bring:

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Required: Product management (basic) experience/knowledge, passion for user design and user experience, familiarity with design thinking process, ability to simplify and organize raw information to translate it into visuals and a “do “attitude with problem solving mindset
  • Desired: (basic) Experience working in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams, ability to communicate fluently and clearly in a digital environment (virtual meetings)
  • University and/or post-graduate student

The intern will be joining the Consumer Industries Cloud team, this is a global team with the biggest representation in Canada, US, UK, Germany, India and China. The overall goal is to continue successful building cloud modular based solutions to increase the SAP offering of public cloud to our customers. The team is constantly challenging the conversation and trying to build software following best practices in the industry, there is a constant cross collaboration between the team members for which we are proud to keep a very flat structure of responsibilities for ensuring constant communication and transparency.
