What you’ll do:
As a Senior User Researcher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of SAP’s strategic Supply Chain Management Cloud solutions. Your expertise will directly influence the design and development of user-centric, intelligent enterprise software.
In your day-to-day, you will:
- Lead End-to-End Research Initiatives: Drive and execute user research projects from discovery to usability testing, working closely with design, product management, and development teams.
- Understand User Needs: Collaborate with end users, customers, and customer-facing teams to deeply understand user requirements and pain points, ensuring a user-centric approach in product design.
- Facilitate Co-Innovation Workshops: Coordinate workshops with customers, designers, and product managers to identify and prioritize user needs for successful productization.
- Coordinate End-User Acquisition: Work closely with product management to communicate and coordinate with customers for arranging virtual or onsite user sessions. Ensure all legal requirements, such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), are signed and in place.
- Support Customer Engagement: Assist product management in moderating customer discussions to uncover insights that inform product strategy and development.
What you bring:
- Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in user research, ideally within the enterprise software domain. Expertise in Supply Chain planning, manufacturing, or logistics is highly preferred. Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence is a plus.
- Educational Background: Degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a comparable field.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in conducting impactful user research projects for business applications, showcasing a strong empathy for end users.
- Research Methods Expertise: Proficiency in a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods and experience with tools like UserZoom, Respondent, and UserInterviews.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of business processes and user roles within the enterprise software space.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly articulate research insights and decisions to diverse stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills to successfully drive global-scale projects.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to convey research findings and their rationale through logical, clear presentations and discussions.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 98500 - 167400(CAD) CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
