The mission of SAP Innovative Business Solutions is to be agile, innovative and flexible in providing high quality, supportable solutions. With 12 development centers worldwide, we can leverage a global delivery model that utilizes the specific strengths of each location.

 

As the global business development team, we are expected to support the 4 regions (North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific & Japan) throughout the whole sales process from lead generation until successful delivery of innovative development projects.

 

SAP Innovative Business Solutions therefore looks for an engaged seasoned professional (f/m) in the role of a Business Development Manager (Senior or Expert level) with focus on Digital Supply Chain solutions leveraging latest technologies like machine learning (ML), data science and Internet of Things (IoT). The candidate must have a strong consulting and sales/pre-sales background with proven experience around the SAP product portfolio (preferably SAP Supply Chain Management solutions and SAP Leonardo). The candidate should have a very charismatic personality with superb presentation skills geared to all levels of customer’s corporate structure.

 

This role will directly report into the head of global solution architects within the SAP Innovative Business Solutions organization and be responsible for business development for SAP Innovative Business Solutions in the market unit CIS in close collaboration with our services sales teams in this market unit.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As a Business Development Manager for SAP Innovative Business Solutions you will:

  • Develop targeted go-to-market (GTM) approach to ensure identification of leads and conversion of leads to opportunities
  • Uncover new business opportunities by identifying cross and upselling opportunities around the SAP product portfolio
  • Identify white spots by customer/industry analysis where we can proactively position our solutions
  • Nurture opportunities in the early stages of a sales cycle, lead customer workshops for projects to be won
  • Propose and present solution architecture for an innovative development project, take ownership for solution proposal and effort estimation in close collaboration with our engineering teams
  • Establish a strong collaboration with colleagues in sales/pre-sales (GCO) and consulting (DBS) and their respective business development units
  • Act as a multiplier within the market unit, build and maintain a strong network to all relevant stakeholders
  • Increase internal and external awareness for SAP Innovative Business Solutions, position our solution experience with new and existing customers
  • Employ an entrepreneurial approach to looking at new revenue streams

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related fields
  • Experience in business development and/or sales related experience
  • In-depth knowledge and tangible experience within SAP product portfolio around Digital Supply Chain & IoT
  • Fluent business Russian, in speaking and writing
  • Fluent business English, in speaking and writing
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (focusing on persuasion and presentations skills)
  • Act pro-actively and success-driven, with a “can do” attitude
  • Innovative and willing to leave old paths behind
  • Ability to pick up knowledge in new areas very fast

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 - 8 years professional experience in enterprise software business development, sales, pre-sales or consulting
  • Managed customer relationship over an extended period
