Job Title: Senior Business Process Consultant

Location: Naperville, IL

 

Purpose and Objective: 

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Senior Business Process Consultant at our Naperville, IL location to drive business consulting by translating the customer’s visions into solutions.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

Maps business processes to solution requirements. Helps position disruptive business innovation. Supports the transformation towards the intelligent enterprise. Drives change management to achieve business transformation objectives. Supports end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards. Participates in transition planning of customer solution landscapes. Drives deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs or industries. Supports pre-sales activities. Performs solution reviews and feasibility studies. Supports escalated project. Occasionally takes over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery. Support line managers in people development tasks. Delivers customers workshops and training. Supports in partner-lead projects to ensure ecosystems and customer success. Introduces SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content an experience. Creates project documentation and documentation of delivered services. Supports the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for respective solution area and key related areas. Can be owner of services and/or supports updates to the portfolio. Supports in solution testing and issues resolution. Can mentor business process consultants.

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

 

Work Experience:

Experience must involve 4 years in the following:

  • Design, prototype, system configuration, and test SAP S/4HANA and ECC in Planning and Procurement (MM/PP), Logistics and Inventory Management (WM), Quality Management (QM), Invoicing and Integration with Tax Solutions, and Master Data for Procurement;
  • Team lead or manager of project/program management, systems implementation, or process engineering; and
  • Middleware and direct connect ERP integration, including B2B communication standards and technology, EDI interface, and Data Migration in EDIX12.

 

Experience must involve 3 years in the following:

  • Implement Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration;
  • SDLC project methodology;
  • Agile or Lean methodology;
  • Manage User stories, features, scenarios, and epics;
  • To Be Business Process modeling and process documentation;
  • Perform requirement gathering and gap analysis; and
  • SCC project implementation including preparation, design, build, go-live, and support.

 

Travel: Position requires up to 80% domestic or international travel to various and unanticipated client sites nationwide.

 

Telecommuting permitted. Position must be based within the continental U.S.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $120,328 - $164,985. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $120,328 - $194,100. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
