The North America Consumer Industries (CI) Campaign Senior Specialist will lead the development and implementation of SAP’s marketing strategy in support of the NA CI pipeline and revenue objectives. They are responsible for driving demand generation and pipeline building, aligned to CI strategic priorities across all of North America, through an innovative mix of marketing programs. The key objective of this role is to plan and execute integrated campaigns and tactics to increase SAP brand awareness within consumer industries (to include Retail, Consumer Products and Life Sciences), drive lead generation, accelerate opportunities and assist in converting sales opportunities into closed business. 

In order to deliver impact to the overall North America business through for CI, they will need to understand the overall business goals and work collaboratively with the broader team including MU marketing team, sales, LOB marketing, Industry Executive Advisory (IEA), and global marketing etc.. to successfully plan, coordinate, launch and measure marketing programs and tactics to meet those goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate the appropriate marketing mix to ensure a healthy pipeline to drive consistent growth
  • Develop and execute annual marketing plan in alignment with MU leadership and IEA and ensure that the plan meets pipeline and revenue targets
  • Partner with marketing leadership to develop and implement pipeline building and acceleration programs based on the business priorities
  • Manage relationships with key strategic partners (third party media, professional associations etc.)
  • Forecast, measure, analyze, refine, improve and report on impact of marketing programs on monthly and quarterly basis
  • Support and leverage corporate/global campaigns and programs and localize as required.
     

An ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Previous outbound marketing and demand generation experience
  • Deep working knowledge of lead generation channels: social media, telemarketing, digital events and online lead generation programs, third party events, paid search
  • Ability to manage by influence
  • Proactivity and resilience. 
  • Problem-solving skills and creativity.
  • Agile, innovative approaches to marketing and revenue acceleration.
  • Results-oriented and budget conscious.
  • Ability to manage a volume of campaigns at one time
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects to completion
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Great interpersonal and relationship building skills for both internal teams and stakeholders, external agencies and vendors, and customers
  • Ability to multi-task at both the strategic and tactic level
  • Proficiency at assessing results of marketing demand channels and ability to readjust campaigns for maximize performance

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.  Concentration in business, marketing, communications, or related field is preferred.

  • Minimum 7 years marketing within B2B tech industry
  • Strong communication skills – written and oral; persuasive
  • Demonstrated success in marketing planning and execution
  • Change agility and adaptability
  • Knowledge of the technology industry along with a very strong business acumen, knowledge of enterprise software and cloud systems

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 112700 - 191800(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
