JOB DESCRIPTION 

What you'll do

This position will support the management and execution of strategic programs and events within the Executive Programs & Experience team portfolio. Responsibilities will include workstream management and providing operational support for tasks including:

  • Development and production of event communications, including design, content management, proofing and version control for PPTs, emails, newsletters, SharePoint sites, event websites, field enablement assets, signage and printed materials
  • Creation of event promotional videos and AI-generated field enablement videos
  • Graphic design support
  • Implementation of event mobile apps
  • Operational support leveraging event systems or technologies, including platforms for field nominations, invitations, registration, content and speaker management, communications, inbox/customer inquiries, and reporting. 
  • Operational support for event content workstreams (speaker and session management and communications, session preparation)
  • Fulfillment of deliverables included in event partner sponsorship packages
  • Hands on event operational support onsite
  • Post-event debriefs and survey analysis
  • Collaboration with internal team members & vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Special projects as required by team.
  • All deliverables managed in line with financial, legal and compliance guidelines and processes.

What you bring

Skills / Competencies

  • Event management skills:  Detailed understanding and proficiency in supporting event operations
  • Technical skills: Microsoft Office:  Word, PowerPoint and Excel (or equivalent Mac applications); Adobe design tools, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Teams; SAP Event Platform, SAP Comms Hub, SharePoint, EventBase; Video editing skills preferred; Graphic design skills preferred, HTML skills preferred
  • Language skills: Fluent in English
  • Soft skills:  
    • High-level knowledge of SAP solutions and customer value propositions is required.
    • The candidate should have a strong customer orientation, with excellent project and program management skills, verbal and written communications skills, and the ability to interact with leaders and customers at all levels. 
    • The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, responsive, able to multi-task, able to collaborate with extended teams, and have a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

The Executive Programs & Experience team creates strategic global programs and event experiences for executive level customers, employees, and the ecosystem. These programs drive significant and tangible impact to SAP’s business and are aligned with and sponsored by members of the SAP Executive Board. 

Customer programs include events for executive networking, pipeline acceleration and relationship building, as well as strategic advisory meetings. Employee programs include employee enablement and engagement events, senior leadership meetings and incentive programs.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 84,300 - 183,700 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
