PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

The charter of the Americas Regional Marketing Team is to create best-in-class strategies and GTM initiatives with a customer-first organization perspective to increase the effectiveness, scale, and agility of regional campaigns and experiences built to scale and deliver impact. The team is responsible for partnering with Customer Success leaders to achieve cloud revenue objectives and pipeline health through the development and execution of high impact marketing programs designed to drive tangible, measurable market growth in the Americas. This Regional Marketing Leader role will work in close partnership with teams and leaders in Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Global Marketing, and Customer Success to drive strategic growth across SAP’s portfolio of offerings.

 

THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced, Regional Enterprise Marketing Director with a proven track record of successfully designing and scaling strategic GTM and ABM programs, developing insight-driven marketing strategies and campaigns to accelerate pipeline progression, strengthening relationships, and driving business growth by improving win rates and renewals. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8+ years of field marketing and ABM experience, with a strong preference for those with recent enterprise B2B demand generation and executive marketing experience in the SaaS industry. This role is critical in driving growth across our business by orchestrating targeted, high-impact marketing programs and buyer journeys designed to attract business decision makers across the customer lifecycle. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to design and deliver innovative and programmatic campaigns at scale with personalized strategies that yield measurable business outcomes. Responsibilities include planning and running demand generation and pipe progression motions to expand business opportunities within target accounts leveraging B2B platforms and digital channels to influence key personas and achieve revenue goals. This role requires someone who thrives in fast-paced environments where change and transformation are part of the daily landscape. Experience in managing and optimizing campaign multi-touch campaigns is essential. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, outcome-focused, have a strong aptitude for innovation—ensuring field marketing programs are repeatable and embedded within the organizational DNA to drive sustained growth and competitive advantage. This position requires demonstrated experience across regional marketing—from digital to high-touch programs and campaigns that deliver pipeline at the field level. The candidate must have recent experience leveraging digital and social strategies to enhance account engagement, drive demand creation, and generate measurable impact.

 

PRIME RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy Development:

· Lead the creation and execution of innovative account programs in close collaboration with the Integrated Marketing Team and Customer Success teams to achieve revenue and pipeline goals.

· Develop and implement differentiated marketing strategies that span the entire customer lifecycle, including new account acquisition, expansion, and adoption.

· Collaborate across regional teams and Global Marketing corporate functions and Marketing Ops during joint business planning process.

· Drive the adoption of best practices in account-based marketing, demand generation, and pursuit to support high-value, strategic sales opportunities.

· Deliver high-impact marketing into actionable plans and orchestrates omni-channel execution.

· Drive innovation with channels, tactics, and technologies to push boundaries of traditional approaches.

Program Execution and Marketing Operations Excellence:

· Partner with sales and account teams to identify target accounts and personas, understand key business challenges, and craft compelling value propositions.

· Deliver personalized campaigns and customer journeys to engage decision-makers and influencers.

· Design and execute go-to-market campaigns with account insights and assets to support deal pursuit and ensure alignment to revenue objectives.

· Plan and execute, executive briefings, roundtables, and industry events—ensuring content creation and performance tracking to achieve pipeline targets.

· Manage with operational excellence, ensuring scalability and best practices are continuous integrated into program design to boost performance.

Measurement and Optimization:

· Set clear goals, objectives, and KPIs for all marketing initiatives, ensuring they are tracked and achieved including program ROI and performance.

· Define and implement proven success metrics for ABM programs, track performance, and provide insights for continuous improvement.

· Track and report on campaign performance, engagement metrics, and influenced pipeline, providing insights for optimization high-impact campaigns and measuring their ROI.

· Ensure rigorous measurement of impact on pipeline growth, deal acceleration, and revenue generation.

· Support Regional CMO on business reviews to report on performance and impact against marketing metrics and required optimizations to achieve business targets.

 

EXPERIENCE & KEY SKILLS:

· 8-10 years experience in B2B, high-tech marketing and field marketing roles in large, global organizations.

· Proven track record of executing modern ABM strategies targeting enterprise-level accounts.

· Strong understanding of top account and deal pursuit marketing methodologies and best practices.

· Experience in industries requiring long sales cycles and sophisticated solutions.

· Proficiency with B2B and strategic account platforms and tools (e.g. 6Sense, Marketo etc.).

· Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels of the organization.

· Strong ability to analyze data, measure performance, and derive actionable insights to drive optimization.

· Ability to lead initiatives, influence stakeholders at all levels, and foster a culture of accountability.

· Experience successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales organizations.

· Experience in teaming with functional experts and directing agencies on development of digital experiences and content to deliver demand generation plans.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

· MBA/master’s degree or advanced executive education equivalent preferred.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $168,800-$385,000(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
