What you’ll do:

 

Position title: SAP iXp Intern – HanaHaus Social Media, Content Creation & Events

Location: Newport Beach, California  / Hybrid

Expected start date: February 2025

 

Social Media

  • Create and plan content, posts, and campaigns for each social media channel to increase engagement and followers.
  • Actively engage with our audience through social channels by responding to direct messages, commenting, and liking posts.
  • Increase our digital presence and boost follower numbers.
  • HanaHaus Social Media channels (@hanahaus):
    • Instagram
    • LinkedIn
    • Facebook
    • X (formerly Twitter)
    • YouTube
    • TikTok

Content Creation

  • Create video content, take high-quality photos, and design captivating digital assets using editing tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and others.
  • Write and publish blogs/articles about events and our community, such as "Humans of HanaHaus," where we feature our regular users utilizing the workspace to work and connect with people and topics important to HanaHaus.
  • Design posters, flyers, guidelines, and any communications for external-facing customers, such as door signage for events, early closures, or holidays, in print or digital formats for our website or social media accounts.

 

Digital Marketing

  • Manage and update the website with the latest information and events.
  • Create and publish a monthly newsletter featuring exciting content and upcoming events, sent to over 15,000 subscribers.

 

Events

  • Manage relationships with the local community and speakers for various virtual and in-person events.
  • Own and lead the entire end-to-end event process for all community events, such as our community event series, listed below:
    • Design event assets and promotional marketing materials.
    • Create and publish event pages through Eventbrite.
    • Promote events with marketing posts and promotions on various social media platforms.
    • Facilitate events by giving an introduction about HanaHaus workspace & café, promoting upcoming events, and sharing a survey on how we can improve future events.
    • Send out reminder and thank you emails through Eventbrite.
  • Organize, execute and host community events in person or virtual, such as:
    • Demystifying AI Series: Collaborate with the Orange County AI community to host various events at HanaHaus, diving deep into AI fields with speakers/panels and interactive showcases. Own the entire event process from start to finish.
    • In House Coffee & Connect: Host free community networking events once a month. Own the entire event process from start to finish for both locations.
    • Business Bites: Collaborate with ON ITS AXIS (a local startup consulting firm) to find speakers and thought leaders for panel discussions or fireside chats to explore entrepreneurial business topics spanning products, people, and processes.

 

Special Projects

  • Training our AI chatbot for our reservation system on SAP BTP. The project involves several key responsibilities:
    • Touchpoints and Alignment: Coordinating with the DevOps team to ensure a smooth launch of the chatbot.
    • Gathering Feedback: Collecting and analyzing user feedback to understand the chatbot's performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Iteration and Improvement: Regularly updating and refining the chatbot based on the gathered feedback to enhance its functionality and user experience.
    • Integration: Ensuring the chatbot seamlessly integrates with our existing reservation system.
    • Testing: Conducting thorough testing to identify and resolve any issues before the full rollout.
    • Documentation: Creating comprehensive documentation to support the ongoing maintenance and development of the chatbot.

      By focusing on these areas, we aim to deliver a robust and efficient AI chatbot that significantly improves our reservation system's user experience.
  • Work closely and align initiatives, plans and communication strategy with the Head of HanaHaus and HanaHaus team.
  • Collaborate with the SAP Comms team to plan various communication messaging strategies for the closure of HanaHaus PAL, including:
    • Website updates and cleansing
    • Consolidating and updating digital presence accounts, such as Google Business, Google Maps, Apple Maps, Yelp, etc.
    • Newsletter announcements and messaging

 

What you bring:

 

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

 

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters in a related field.  Previous SAP internship highly desired.
  • Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role.
